This 1960 Renault 4CV finished in turquoise was purchased out of South Italy. It looks clean inside and out. This French-Beetle is very straight and correct with intact trim and lighting. Panel fitment appears very good, and only minor flaws in the paintwork are noted. All four hubcaps are fitted to the wheels, which are fitted with recently renewed tires. Lighting and chrome trim are in a good condition.
Like many cars of this type, production line changes even within the same model year could be relatively substantial. This car has a dash with the instrument cluster positioned ahead of the steering wheel. The car is fitted with simple rubber mats, and the upholstery is in excellent condition.
This car is fitted with a 747cc four cylinder mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox. The 4CV was fitted with fairly quick steering, and only takes about two turns of the wheel from lock to lock. The underside is very straight.
The model’s distinctive B-pillar hinged doors and corresponding curved front floors are a cool design feature.
