Honda released the N360 family sedan on October 21, 1966, at the Haneda Tokyu Hotel. The market was wide open for a small family saloon and the 360 filled the bill. It was produced at the highly automated Sayama plant where the similar Z360, the LN360 van and the larger engined N600 saloon and Z600 coupe were produced.
In ready-to-restore condition, one does not expect it to take a great deal to return this car to running and driving condition and with so few preserved examples left this presents as an excellent project opportunity.
This red N600 is from 1971 and had only one owner. Original Dutch registration document is with the car. The car got a restauration by the owner (Honda dealer) in round 1990. The car didn’t drive for 20 years. But now she is ready for the road again. The Interior is still in the original and good condition. The front and rear brake cylinders and the master brake cylinder are overhauled, brake hoses replaced, carburettor cleaned, fuel pump and hoses replaced, front left wheel hub has been replaced, Handbrake cable replaced and a new exhaust. Now this fun little car can be enjoyed again with that typical sound of the air-cooled 2 cylinder engine.
