The Fiat 2300 President is Fiat's executive and diplomatic car. Due to the generous space of the bodywork, made by the well-known coachbuilder Francis Lombardi, this car meets the typical stylish and exclusive features, which are a prerequisite for representative purposes. Lombardi used the Fiat 2300 de Luxe as a basis, which was equipped with a 55 cm longer wheelbase. This created a very spacious interior with a spacious entry, with sufficient space. The car could be supplied with or without a partition wall. The interior is simple, but tastefully finished. 4 people can sit in the back thanks to the extra emergency seats. Engine-wise, the President is the same as the Fiat 2300 de Luxe with a smooth-running 6 cylinder.
This President is from August 1962. The Fiat was imported into the Netherlands in 2017. After being purchased by the current owner in 2017, the Fiat underwent major maintenance by a specialist, during which the spring rocker bushes and the braking system were adjusted and the steering and ball joints were replaced. The clutch, pressure group and release bearing have also been replaced.
