The car was purchased in 2004. The condition of the car was reasonable, no rust, only some damage on the left rear and the doors were slightly torn in at the front window pillars (wich was a common problem for a Renault 5). The car was then painted with all windows, rubbers, doors , bumpers, spoilers, skirts and front and tailgate dismantled. This was to avoid showing any masking lines anywhere. The car was then rebuilt with new lights and any other parts that were still available. The rims were restored. The front seats and front mats are in original perfect condition. The engine trim was replaced with material from https://lesselliersdudomaine.fr/ Finally, in 2009, the car was technically completed and hit the road. It was then driven occasionally and kept in a room without light to avoid discolouration. The R5 Turbo2 is otherwise completely original and has the looks of a new car..
