When this car came on the market, the Datsun name was immediately abandoned and from now on it was known as the Nissan 300ZX. The 300ZX comes on the market in a number of versions. As a 2-seater and 2+2 seater, with or without a T-bar. In addition to the standard version, a turbo version will also be available on the market. The cars are equipped with a five-speed gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The 6-cylinder in-line engine that has been used for 15 years is replaced in this model by a 6-cylinder V-arrangement. The handling was greatly improved compared to the 280ZX.

It would become the fastest and most expensive Japanese sports car of that time. The entire promotion was based on the performance of this car. Many comparison tests were done with the well-known American sports cars of that time and every time the 300ZX turbo came out well. Still, there was plenty of commentary on the model by the “specialists”, but they all agreed on one thing, the 3 liter 6 cylinder turbo engine was a super engine.

This is the second generation Z and anniversary model to celebrate 15 years of Z. A beautiful, timeless design with folding headlights. With this 2nd Z-series, the 6 cylinder in-line engine was also replaced by a very reliable V6 3.0 liter engine with injection. The engine produces approximately 180 hp and a lot of torque, which means that the car handles fantastically with a weight of 1.414 kg in combination with the manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and short wheelbase.

As an anniversary version, this ZX has a fully digital dashboard, Two-tone upholstery, climate control, cruise control, a compass and even a G-force meter.

300ZX

Completely original Nissan 300 ZX that was driven by the 1st owner in Boston (USA) from 1985 to 2000 (approx. 48.000 miles). This 1st owner was a real enthusiast and ordered the car with a manual gearbox instead of the automatic transmission that was common at the time. After the 1st owner died, the car stood still for a long time. After a few years, the car was purchased by a Nissan dealer who kept it in one of his showrooms for a number of years. Because this dealer subsequently switched to a Volvo dealership, the car was sold to the Netherlands in 2015.

In the USA, all consequences of long downtime have been addressed (including digital dashboard, distribution, braking, etc.). The dealer who brought the car to the Netherlands sold the car in 2018. This owner drove the car 22,000 km for 5 years. A Carfax report from the USA, brochure, booklets and all invoices from the past 5 years are present. In addition to normal maintenance, the shock absorbers and air conditioning were replaced during this period. The car is 100% rust-free and preventively treated.
