The Ferrari 456 GTA is the automatic version of the 456 GT. The transaxle layout maintained the GT’s near ideal weight distribution, and an innovative torque converter ensured virtually identical acceleration and top speed to the manual version. This 2+2 Coupé continued the great Ferrari Grand Tourer tradition. Penned by the legendary Pininfarina (Pietro Camardella and Lorenzo Ramaciotti), the 456 GTA is an entirely original design whose sleek forms were shaped around its front engine and rear-mounted gearbox-differential assembly.
The 456 GTA has a light aluminum bodywork made from ‘Feran’ spot-welded alloy panels to a structurally optimized tubular steel chassis with composite engine bay and retractable headlamp covers with honeycomb insert.
The longitudinal front-mounted 65° 5,474 cc V12 punched out 442 hp. The four valves per cylinder are controlled by twin overhead cams. It also has a Bosch Motronic 2.7 engine management system and dry sump lubrication. The car has a four-speed (plus reverse) automatic gearbox in unit with the rear-mounted self-locking differential (transaxle).
Between 1993 and 1997, in total 1.936 456 GT and GTA were produced. Only 402 left the factory with the automatic gearbox.
This particularly beautiful Ferrari 456 GTA from 1996, is a real ' Gentlemen Ferrari '. The Ferrari has the special color combination of Blue Tour de France (metallic) with a stylish dark blue leather interior. This one is ordered with a lot of options like: climate control, original Sony radio with CD changer, 17” OEM Factory Speedline wheels, electronically-controlled adaptive suspension, electric windows and mirrors and an original car cover.

This Ferrari is very well maintained and perfectly documented. Originally it concerns a Belgian F456; in January 2008 the F456 was imported into the Netherlands.
